Injury Prevention
Pilot Partnership

A four-year partnership that gives every athlete in your program world-class biomechanical data -- at minimal cost to the school, with compounding benefits to your athletes, your teams, your academic mission, and the health of your entire community.

The Proposition

What we are offering BASIS Independent Brooklyn

Your cost is minimal -- roughly $70 to $100 per athlete for comprehensive biomechanical assessment data. Every athlete gets assessed equally, regardless of sport or grade level. Families who want more choose their own level of engagement. The program sustains itself through parent participation and community events -- reaching zero net cost to the school by Year 3.

What your school gains in return goes far beyond injury prevention: longitudinal athlete development data, a STEM internship pipeline, an institutional recruiting advantage, and a training intelligence culture that transforms how your athletic program operates.

What the Program Delivers

Six pillars of impact across your school

Athletes

Biomechanical Intelligence

Every athlete receives objective data on how their body moves -- strength balance, landing mechanics, mobility, and sport-specific risk factors. A foundation of body literacy that lasts a lifetime.

Teams & Coaches

Data-Driven Coaching

Coaches see team-wide readiness, individualized warm-up assignments, and season-over-season trends. Training decisions move from intuition to evidence. Injury rates drop measurably.

College Placement

Recruiting Portfolios

Multi-year biomechanical data gives student-athletes an objective development story that college programs value -- quantified progression, not just highlight reels.

Academic Integration

STEM Internship Pipeline

Science and math students participate in real biomechanical analysis -- operating assessment stations, analyzing data sets, and mentoring younger athletes. Applied STEM on college applications.

School-Wide Health

Training Intelligence

Aggregate data across every athlete, every sport, every season builds a living health profile of your athletic program. Systemic patterns emerge. Decisions become evidence-based.

Reputation

Institutional Differentiation

BASIS becomes known as the school that uses data to protect its athletes. A visible commitment to student-athlete welfare that parents, prospective families, and peer schools notice.

The Four-Year Arc

How cost and impact evolve together

Each year builds on the last. As parent engagement grows, school costs decrease. As data accumulates, the program's value to athletes, coaches, and the academic mission compounds.

Y1
Baseline
School cost: $0
Every athlete profiled. Dashboards live. STEM observation pilot. School-wide baseline data established.
Y2
Track
Net cost: ~$13/athlete
Longitudinal data. Recruiting portfolios begin. STEM interns active. Community events launched.
Y3
Compound
Net cost: $0
Injury rates measurably reduced. Student Assessment Leaders. Multi-year recruiting data. Credits exceed fee.
Y4
Establish
Net cost: $0
Training intelligence culture embedded. STEM pipeline in catalog. Institutional recruiting advantage. Permanent infrastructure.
Equity Commitment

Every athlete is assessed equally, regardless of family subscription status. Coaches see full team data for all athletes -- never tiered. Scholarship pricing for financial-aid families, administered confidentially by the school. The assessment experience is identical for every participant. Subscription tiers are a post-assessment engagement layer, not a different protocol.
